Of the designated trails 6% are classed as Extreme, 22% Expert, 56% Intermediate and 18% Beginner.

The variety of ski run classes and un-groomed terrain offers great diversity and some thing for everyone. Big White is an ideal destination for families where not all members may be at the same ski/board level, the balance of choice is outstanding.

The wooded areas between trails are open, and offer a variety of un-groomed snow and widely varied terrain. Deep stashes of powder delight many skiers and boarders in these wooded terrain areas.

There are 16 lifts and 118 designated runs, the longest run is 7.2 km (4.5 miles). Marked runs total 105 km (65 miles).

The resort has a vertical drop of 777 metres (2,550 ft) and overall skiable terrain of just under 2,800 acres (1133 ha), plus Big White also enjoys British Columbia’s largest night skiing area.

The resorts terrain area is known as TELUS Park. This a well designed facility including a Boarder/Skier-cross course that hosts major events and a variety of rails and jumps for all experience levels.

Big White also offers an extensive system of groomed Nordic trails totalling 25 km.
