A ski holiday is also all about après ski. Our team has a winter wonderland ‘must do’ list of après events.

Be tempted. Savour a 6 course degustation dinners, pairing local wine with local produce, at 6 Degrees Bistro. Try your hand at a moonlit snowshoe. Take a romantic sleigh ride to a log cabin in the wilderness for a truly unique dining experience.

The resort has an Irish tavern, aptly named the Blarney Stone, with plenty of events always planned, and St Patricks Day the highlight, along with their Weekly Trivia, which will test the best of us.

Après ski beers on the patio

Everything is at your doorstep — from take-out pizza, tapas, to fine dining to taste Canadian salmon and wild game. Enjoy some appies — that’s Canadian for starters — and a Molson (Canadian Beer) on the snow patios at some of the resorts bar.

Drop a puck on the local  ice rink, and start a family game of hockey, or watch on, sipping a hot chocolate in front of the bonfire. There are always locals around looking to join in a game. Whilst you’re at the Happy Valley Adventure Park, tubing is a must-do thrill, as you slide down the tube lane in an inflatable tire. Who knew this could be so much fun!

The resort has a weekly calendar of events for the young and young at heart – fireworks, Kids’ Carnival, Cruz the Blues ski events, Big Reds at Big White, and more.

For guests looking for an off-the-mountain experience, here at Stonebridge at Big White, our team design a series of bespoke food and wine experiences, partnering with award winning wineries in Kelowna.
