Big White Ski Resort has three desginated hotels for accommodation. All are located in the Central Village area, and rated as 3-star. Big White does not have a 5-star international standard hotel. Luxury accommodation is very sought after – mainly found in freestanding chalets and townhouses.
The White Crystal Inn can accurately boast true ski-in/ski-out location, on the Home Run, right next to Lara’s Gondola and just steps to the Village Centre Mall, ski school, retail outlets, the supermarket, the pub, and all the facilities you need to access during your ski vacation.
Each room has free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges. Upgraded rooms add kitchenettes and pull-out sofas, and 1- and 2-bedroom suites or condos offer gas fireplaces and bunk beds. Many have scenic views of the snow-covered Monashee Mountains. Kids 18 years of age and under stay free when sharing their parents’ room.
The Bullwheel Gastro Family Pub is located within the White Crystal Inn, and is one of the resorts best family restaurants, and après spots. It is sensational for breakfast, lunch and dinner, open every day during the season. From the Pub’s fireside lounge you can watch skiers swish by on their way into the village. And at the end of your ski day, all you need to do is ski or snowboard to the front door, click off your skis and you are home.
Other amenities include a whirlpool bath and a sauna, underground secure car parking and ski lockers.
The Chateau Big White is ideally situated in the heart of the Central Village, perched next to the Plaza Beginner Chairlift. The hotel also features the Black Diamond Bar & Grill and free underground parking. Each unit is decorated with standard features including; a gas fireplace, microwave, mini-fridge and in-room safes. You can choose from Kitchenette, Loft, One Bedroom, One Bedroom Plus and Two Bedroom Plus suites. (Plus is the addition of a den creating an extra sleeping area).
The Inn at Big White is a moderate 3-star ski-to/ski-from inn is off the Hummingbird piste. There is a full service restaurant and bar within the Inn which makes après ski oh so easy!
Most rooms have kitchenettes with cook tops, minifridges, microwaves and wet bars, plus WiFi and flat-screen TVs. All offer gas fireplaces, and some feature pull-out sofas. Children 18 years of age and under stay free in their parents’ room.
Other amenities include an outdoor pool and a hot tub, a game room with a ping-pong table, and an exercise room. There are ski lockers and heated underground parking.
