For the Kids

Kids love Big WhiteThe Big White Kids Centre proudly boasts many awards for its outstanding offering.  It’s the ultimate playground for tots from 18 months through to teenagers.

Your kids will be up and going on skis or snowboards in no time, and as safety is just as important as fun, the Kids Centre provides complimentary ski helmets to all children in its care.

The Tot Town Daycare centre caters for children aged 18 months to 5 years, ideal for kids who do not wish to ski, or ski just part of the day.

Big White Adult Ski and Snowboard School

The Big White Adult Ski and Board School has built an enviable reputation for specialist programs and training sessions.  Enjoy the popular Masters Monday Program, and  Ladies Day group programs both of which are conducted weekly each Wednesday through out the season. Both programs include a 2 hour group lesson, followed by a wonderful gourmet lunch at the Kettle Valley Steakhouse.  For Ladies Day you can choose between skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing group lessons.

We also highly recommend the well established “Masters Week” – a 5 day program, which is have been offered for more than 5 years now, and sees many ‘repeat’ guests in the over 50’s age bracket return year after year to participate in Masters Weeks.   Designed specifically for passionate skiers aged 50+, this week-long program combines the best skiing Big White has to offer with a series of exclusive après events including wine tastings, appies at the resort’s best local restaurants, evening sleigh rides through the magical, lantern-lit winter wonderland, and more. The 5 day program is offered 3 times per season, usually in late January, February and March. One of the real benefits of Masters Week is you are assigned the same instructor for the entire program which provides for continuity and progression.
