Terrain Park

Home to TELUS Terrain Park, Big White offers a free-style haven for skiers and boarders alike to thrive in and enjoy. Teaming up with TELUS to develop one of the country’s top ski and snowboard parks, it spreads across 50 acres and serves as a playground of jumps, boxes, rails, skiercross and pipes. This Terrain Park is world-class, having hosted The Barrels & Berms Snowboardcross World Cup in 2020 and the 2017 World Para Snowboard Championship.

This world-class facility boasts a progression system that focuses on small, medium, large and extra-large features. It has everything for beginners, intermediate and advanced guests to get lost in. As it is an extensive terrain park, it has played host to Olympic & World Cup events.

Alpine Skiing

Not only is Big White well designed and renowned for ski-in ski-out accommodation, but it also has one of the most thought-out layouts regarding the groomed runs. With families being the priority, it has designated options for all ski abilities. Spread across all skill levels, the trails are 18% beginner, 54% intermediate, 22% expert and 6% extreme.

In fact, so no one misses out, each Big White ski hill has a green, blue and black run option at the top of every lift. This way, all members of your family can ride the chair together and ski back down at their respective skill levels.

Are you more of an expert group of skiers or boarders? Don’t worry, the resort is filled with plenty of chutes, glades and off piste runs for the advanced! Our recommendation is to head to The Cliff for those looking for a challenge.

For some quality glade riding, head for the Black Forest Chairlift and conquer the Easter Chutes or head west to Gem Lake. The number of glades will blow your mind!
